Lois F. Shullaw, 89, of Washington, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born October 17, 1920 in Washburn, Illinois to Ernest J. Becker and Esther A. Fitschen Becker. Lois married John Robert Shullaw in Washburn on October 26, 1947. She graduated from Brown's Business College in 1939 and worked at Byerly Music Company and Mace Advertising. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Washington. She was a member of the Tuesday Morning Golf League and the Friday Chippers Golf League at Hillcrest Golf Center. Lois also enjoyed playing bridge at the Five Points Center in Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
Lois is survived by one son, J. Robert (Lara) Shullaw of Houston TX, and one daughter Mrs. Jeanne K. (Mark) Heiser of Channahon IL. She also has three grandchildren; Danielle Mari (Tim) Filas of Delaware OH., Mandi Mari Heiser of Elmhurst IL, and Derek J. (Tessa) Heiser of Milwaukee WI.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 28 at the Mason White Funeral Home in Washington. The Rev. Thomas Heren will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be accorded.
